When the Visionary Tattoo Arts Festival makes its mark in Asbury Park this weekend (July 30 through Aug. 1), the event's managing partner, Jon Lane, hopes it will be a learning experience for all in attendance.

Visionary tattoo fest raises awareness of art form

One of the artists in attendance will be Randy Prause, owner and operator of Permanent Buzz Tattoo in Denville. Prause, a Paterson native who lives in Rockaway and has been in the tattoo business for 12 years, said he's expecting a busy weekend at the festival in Asbury Park.
